Not only is there the audacity of hope, but there is also a certain amount of audacity to creating and launching a website. Do people really want to read my random thoughts? Who cares what I have to say!
I guess you never know until you launch.
So it’s with that in mind that I’m happy to say www.peteseat.com is up and running!
Since I began writing a guest column for The Times (of Northwest Indiana), I’ve spread the word by posting links on Facebook and Twitter and e-mailing friends. If you don’t advertise your work, who will?
So I thought, why not post everything to a central location? I can still continue to post updates to the social networking site of my choice, but this makes it much easier! And, it allows for other information and content that friends and readers would enjoy.
In addition to posting my biweekly column from The Times, I will also post op-eds, web-exclusive writings, a quick thoughts feature on breaking news, and link to other sites and stories from across the World Wide Web.
There is also a travel page where you can find archived Journeys with George pieces from my travels with President George W. Bush and the upcoming Journeys without George that will highlight my George-less travels around the world. Plus a bio and pictures from work and travel.
So, with an understanding that this is all audacilicious, welcome to www.peteseat.com!
