Hey Mr. Seat! Nice digs you got here on the interwebs. I am greatly looking forward to more of your insights on the political scene in the coming months.
As for London, I have been there twice, and I would say that my favorite experiences were at the British Museum (plan for at least a few hours), Trafalgar Square (I was there when Brazil won the World Cup, so that might not be fair), and viewing the memorials at Westminster Abbey. If you have time, I also suggest riding the London Eye to get some fantastic views of the city (including the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, MI6, and the Globe Theatre) or touring the Tower of London.
As for dining, make sure you get some authentic fish and chips, as you can hardly ever go wrong with that. I don’t really have any specific restaurant recommendations as we tried to eat at more localized establishments while we were there, but typically the local pubs have some good grub.
Also, if you happen to visit any other countries besides Belgium and the UK during your visit, I always recommend a visit to Lucerne, Switzerland. It’s a beautiful city with a wonderful atmosphere!
