Obama Admin Muddles Message (from Politico) - purely from a communications standpoint, they are right on. There have been so many conflicting messages coming for the ranks on the release on the memos that it isn’t quite clear who we should believe. Is it Rahm Emanuel’s comments this past Sunday? Or Obama’s in the Oval yesterday? Obviously, one is the boss, the other the staffer, but it begs the question of message discipline. The worst part for them is the revelation that DNI head Blair admits that these specific techniques were valuable in extracting the type of information that prevented a number of planned attacks.
