Da Bulls

Lets be honest - they probably didn’t deserve to win the game yesterday afternoon.  The Chicago Bulls pulled ahead for a 121-118 2OT win against the defending champion Boston Celtics  at the United Center.  Had the Bulls been playing just one level better than my 1994 biddy ball team - it would have been a 20-point Bulls win blowout.  The Bulls, I’m sure, are a better team than the Celtics if they focus on fundamentals - like passing the ball and making free throws.  The Celtics knock down every single jump shot and free throw.  The Bulls on the other hand, are letting Derrick Rose play “Superman” and drive to the lane on nearly every play and then blow the attempted lay-up.

Once the second overtime rolled around, the Bulls released they had to play like a team to win the game.  The passes started flying, jump shots starting landing - and they won.

It was my first time inside the United Center and a lot of fun.  I had never seen a Chicago Bulls intro live in person - it was awesome as it reminded me of all the great years we had in the 90s with Bulls championship teams.  Hearing that booming “aaaaaaand now….the STARTING LINE-UP for YOUR World Champ-ION CHICAGO BULLS!” was a staple of those years.
